We are Scot and Sonja Thompson and we absolutely love the mountains of Franklin, North Carolina. Back when our son, Chad, was a youngster, we vacationed in Franklin to enjoy the peaceful mountains, hiking, gem mining, antiquing and waterfalls, and of course, white water rafting. Several summers ago we visited this beautiful area and purchased Cabe's Cottage that we are opening to you. Our Story

The Cabe's are a multi-generation family in Franklin, NC.  The family still farms in the area.  Cabe's Cottage was owned by Warren and Diana Cabe and when we saw it, we knew it would make a terrific seasonal rental. For those of us who love and visit the mountains of western North Carolina, we offer a private retreat, and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!
